Food Technology at Ravenscliffe

The intent of our food technology curriculum is to equip pupils with skills they can use in a kitchen environment at home, transferring practical skills into real life situations and beyond and to apply the principles of nutrition and healthy eating to their own lives. Learning how to cook is a crucial life skill for pupils and we aim to encourage independent learning through practical participation. Our hope is that students have the opportunity to explore the richness, pleasure and variety that food adds to life.
