SCHOOL

UNIFORM

School uniform is compulsory for students in Years 7 to 11. This helps promote a sense of belonging and ensures students are dressed comfortably and appropriately for school activities. Students are expected to wear:

  • A navy blue sweatshirt (with the school logo)
  • A sky blue polo shirt
  • Grey, navy or black school trousers, school shorts (knee length), or a mid-length skirt
  • Knee-length culottes (grey, navy or black) are also permitted
  • Plain tracksuit bottoms with elasticated waists may be appropriate for some students with sensory or personal care needs
  • Plain black shoes or specialist footwear, where required
  • Branded sportswear, tight-fitting leggings/shorts and jeans are not permitted

Key Stage 5 (Post-16)

Students in Key Stage 5 are encouraged to wear smart, casual clothing that is suitable for a school environment.

PE Kit

PE kit is compulsory for Key Stage 3 students (with the exception of sensory learners). Students should bring:

  • Navy blue school PE top and short (with the school logo)
  • Spare socks
  • Trainers
  • Towel

PE kits can be stored in school lockers and will be sent home periodically for washing.

 

Swimming & Hydrotherapy

If your child takes part in hydrotherapy or off-site swimming, they will also need:

  • A suitable swimming costume
  • A towel

 

Showers are an important part of these activities, so these items are essential.

 

Labelling

Please label all school uniform with your child’s full name so that we can reunite any lost items with their owners.
